Cosrx Low Ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser Honest Review

So Im back to give you guys my honest opinion about Cosrx Low Ph Good Morning gel cleanser. I've been using it nonstop for about one and half years and Im on my second tube now. Since I have that very annoying combination skin which is depends on my surrounding I cant really know what my types is. but the major problem on my skin is sensitive and sometimes in some part, it could be either very drying or very oily, it never be normal. This product is one of my life savior. So I'd like to share it with you guys and maybe it could save your life too!

As usual, we'll start from the product description from soko glam (because i really like the way they describe it) :
 "A super gentle cleanser that’s great for your morning wash, this low pH formula gel cleanser doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils and contains purifying botanical ingredients and mild acids to gently cleanse your skin to its most supple and clear texture. It's also formulated to remove makeup and other oil-based residue with a skin-happy pH of 5!"

Packaging

Cosrx always comes with simple functional packaging. This one comes in simple white plastic tube, with a little bit of colorful design compare to the other Cosrx tube product. The head of the tube is a good one because it's tight but you can open it easily and it doesn't create any mess in your sink. this one comes in plastic wrapping, not in a box. however this packaging isn't travel friendly.

Product
The consistency of this cleanser is not too watery but not too thick. it's just like the ordinary gel cleanser. It creates a little foam when you start to rub it with water. Enough amount of bubble to clean your face without stripping the moisture off. The scent itself smell like tea tree and some medicine/antiseptic. you'll find it weird at first and kinda threw you off (I almost didn't want to use it , I thought this cleanser full of chemical because the way it smell. but it is not)  it actually smell fresh if you've got used to it. it just wakes you up and your skin when you clean your face in the morning. This cleanser is sooooooo gentle. by this I mean very very very good for sensitive skin. It works really well to clean your face from dirt and light makeup (not full face of makeup). The idea of this cleanser is to refresh your skin in the morning after a long time of beauty sleep so i think there is no make up involved here. This cleanser is a low Ph cleanser so it's good for your skin (since a higher Ph could strip all of your moisture from your face, this one didn't do that). I think this cleanser is good for all skin types from dry to oily, sensitive and acne prone. It takes a very good care of your skin. Btw, from the name of the product itself, I think they only recommend you to use it only every morning (its a low Ph good morning gel cleanser right?) even though you can use it every morning and night (like me) hehe. They told us to double cleanse if we want to use it at night. I'm gonna put the photos down below for you to see.

My Opinion:

This product is one of my holygrail! my favorite basic cleanser ever! they done what they should have done! it's a great cleanser to cleanse your face. but you should know that this cleanser can't do anything to your face except cleaning dirt and residue. I mean this cleanser can't make your face more firm or bright since it's only a general cleanser. What I realized since the first time I used this cleanser that my face less oily (since it doesn't strip your moisture out off your face, so your face didn't need to produce more oil to make it moist enough but again, you should noted that washing our face with ordinary cleanser will still make our skin little bit dry), my face is less often to break out because this cleanser cleanse well and the tea tree oil in it help to prevent break out too. I use it twice a day, morning and night. but  I usually cleanse my face with a more strong cleanser (my salicilyc acid gentle cleanser) at night because I  think I need a stronger cleanser to end my rough day and followed with this cleanser to balance my Ph. Ohh and the bonus is this cleanser make your face feel soooo supple,  fresh, clear and soft. What I liked the most is how supple and fresh my face is after I cleanse my face with it. this cleanser is so gentle, there was onetime when my face got a bad sunburnt and really irritated but this cleanser doesn't sting my face at all, otherwise it calm my skin redness. My whole family members with all different skin types use this cleanser and none of us got breakout. But I warn you that this cleanser can't do an instant job. So you need a time. When the first time I used this my skin is purging, this is because at that time my skin is on its worst break out. but after a week using this cleanser followed with my other skincare (moisturizer, essence) my skin is crystal clear again (:p). So guys if you've been through my situation just be patient. Last, This is the best drugstore cleanser I ever tried.

Overall:

Pros:

+ Cleanse well

+ Affordable

+ Good with every skin types

+ Gentle

+ Non drying 

Cons:

- Strong scent (but doesn't linger on)

- Not strong enough to be the only night cleanser (after a long rough outdoor and full of motorcycle rides day)

Rating: 5/5 as daily basic cleanser
