Review COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser

Today, I'll review COSRX SALICYLIC ACID DAILY GENTLE CLEANSER. So recently, Cosry just reformulated this facial foam and This is one of my favorite facial foam! so lets get started!!

so first we'll start with product description:

"Cleanse your skin and fight breakouts at the same time with this gentle exfoliating cleanser! Formulated with 0.5% salicylic acid, this cleanser keeps breakouts at bay while removing dead skin cells. Tea tree oil also helps fight blemishes while willow bark water and saccharomyces ferment hydrate skin, revealing softer and more even skin. Effective yet gentle, this multi-purpose cleanser will be your new go-to for clear, pillow-soft skin."

and here are the ingredients:

Packaging

The packaging is so simple, as we know cosrx didn't invest on their packaging. Its just ordinary plastic tube. The lid is tight and messy-free. This one didn't come with box.

Product

This facial foam has a fresh tea tree scent. The consistency itself is quite thick and the bubble is quite a lot. In my opinion,  this facial foam cant cleanse heavy make up so you really need to use makeup remover first.

walau gabisa bersihin make up (yang sebenernya  pun gaada di claimsnya) facial foam ini bagus banget buat mencegah atau dealing with break out apalagi buat yang skin typenya oily like me, you will love this! dia juga bisa sekalian exfoliate your skin dengan gentle. buat yg dry skin type ini bisa tetep dipake walaupun little bit drying tapi dia worth it kok buat  masalah sama jerawat dan beruntusan. and pstttt.. this work so well even on your very sensitive skin.

Price

the price is soooooo affordable, Rp. 100.000-150.000 for 150 ml facial foam that will last for half year or longer. mungkin buat di indo masih harus dibeli via olshop atau website korea soalnya Cosrx blom masuk di indo.

My Opinion:

My Current Skin Condition: Oily and Sensitive Skin

Produk ini menurut gw sesuai sama claimsnya, dia bener bener fight break out, biasanya kalo lagi on my periods pasti muka udah ga berbentuk (beruntusan dan jerawatan) cuma semenjak pake facial foam ini udah ga pernah jerawatan lagi dan beruntusan pun bener bener berkurang. even in my very sensitive skin It didn't strip and harsh my skin. dan karna sekarang muka gw ga terlalu bermasalah I only use it at night as my gentle exfoliator and my first cleanser (because I double cleanse my face everynight). kekurangannya dia itu level Ph nya agak tinggi jadi dia bisa bikin kulit agak kering (tapi bukan yang lebay keringnya) dan menurut skin expert Ph level tinggi itu ga bagus jadi setelah cuci muka harus pake toner to balance the Ph. dan satu lagi karna produk Cosrx banyak natural ingredientsnya jadi ga instant hasilnya, it takes around two weeks to really notice the improvement. 

Overall:

Pros:

+ Did what they claimed

+ Affordable

+ Gentle on sensitive skin

+ Works great

Cons:

-  High Ph level

-  Little bit drying

- Doesn't clean make up so well

Note: You need to wear toner or moisturizer afterwards or cleanse your skin with low Ph cleanser after.  I recommend to not use it twice a day, except if you have that very oily skin or acne prone skin.
